Back to Normal!

After a very long break (a year and a half), I have finally added some Studio Workshops to my website. I have really missed having visitors to my studio, but being such a small space, it hasn’t seem to appropriate until recently to hold any workshops. I am sure that worries about social distancing and catching COVID-19 would have overshadowed any enjoyment.

I have had a good tidy-up of my studio - something that always takes a lot longer than anticipated! I have decided to reduce the maximum class size for my workshops from 4 to 3 to allow for better social distancing and make sure people don’t feel too cramped.

I must admit that it is taking quite a long time to get back into the swing of things after such a long break from running workshops and doing in-person events. Things are slowly taking shape, though, and I have listed my workshops in various places with the aim building up to a series of regular classes again. I am keeping it simple to start with, and hope to add new workshops as I go along.

Students’ work, Beginners’ Machine Embroidery Workshop

I have lots of new ideas in the pipeline for new classes including using soluble fabrics, working with sheers, incorporating wet felting with machine embroidery. I am always keen to take on board suggestions from other people too.

If you are interested in attending one of my Machine Embroidery Workshops why not take a look at my Workshop Events page for details and dates of Upcoming Classes.
